MEET the new kids on Myer’s fashion block.
Amid speculation that Jennifer Hawkins’ days are numbered, with her $5 million contract due to expire in December, the department store has signed model Elyse Knowles and former AFL player Josh Gibson as their newest ambassadors.
Knowles, who, like her idol Hawkins, is known for her down-to-earth attitude and has a tradie partner, wouldn’t comment on whether she is expected to replace Hawkins, who has been the face of the brand for 12 years.
“I don’t know what’s happening with her but I’m just happy with my role and I’m thrilled I can finally announce I’m part of the family,” the 25-year-old The Block 2017 winner said.
“I’ve been working for this moment since I was 16 when I first worked with Myer and I knew from then that I wanted to be a part of the family.”
