Just yesterday, the official launch of Tag Heuer’s Autavia collection, fronted by global brand ambassador Chris Hemsworth (above), welcomed the likes of Elyse Knowles, Scott Pendlebury and Pip Edwards to Catalina, in Rose Bay.
This latest collection channels the elements of versatility, ruggedness and reliability that characterised the original Autavia timepieces, with the name itself coming from a combination of the words automobile and aviation. But that's not all, the newest line also stands to feature innovative watchmaking technology, made to appeal to young adventure enthusiasts.
Guests in attendance were lucky enough to be treated to a seaplane ride over the gorgeous Sydney Harbour to celebrate the unveiling. Throughout the course of the day, the Autavia collection was showcased, and heritage Autavia pieces from Tag Heuer’s Switzerland museum also made a special appearance.
Towards the end of the event, Hemsworth took to the stage to touch on the inspiration behind Autavia, as well as his connection with the latest collection.
