It's safe to say that the last few weeks have been a bit of a blur for The Block sweetheart Elyse Knowles.
Just weeks after winning the renovation contest with the help of comedian Dave Hughes, she stepped out onto the GQ Men of the Year awards red carpet, admitting to host Abbey Gelmi that it hadn't quite sunk in.
Hughes, of course, made headlines when on the way home from work, he stopped off and made a $3 million bid for the home built by Knowles and Josh Barker. The bid, which Hughes has since revealed places the house as something of an 'investment property', smashed the reserve on the house by over $400k, winning Knowles The Block in the process.
Whether or not Hughes will actually spend any time in the house over the summer remains to be seen, but Knowles has warned him that the pool and spa area are still firmly in their sights.
