Block winners Josh Barker and Elyse Knowles have sold their Melbourne home for a staggering $1.631 million dollars after it went under the hammer today.

Four bidders fought for the Coburg home, with it eventually selling for $81,000 above reserve.

"We have sold our first baby," Knowles wrote shortly after the auction.

"Bring on new beginnings."

The couple purchased the property, which looks similar to their Block home, in 2014 for $600,000.

"It's like a mini-me version of Elsternwick, obviously the California bungalow, we went with the traditional pillars, although we got canned for them,” Barker told A Current Affair during an exclusive tour of the home.

It took the couple around 18 months to renovate the home, a lifetime compared to the 12 weeks they had to makeover The Block house. READ THE FULL ARTICLE HERE
